Dato’ Hans brings with him a wealth of medical device manufacturing and commercialisation knowledge and venture partnering experience with strong business networks, especially in the Asia Pacific region. He is an accomplished leader with more than 28 years of management, marketing and business development experience in the medical device industry.

He is currently managing a firm based in Penang, running sales and marketing projects in medical devices throughout the Asia-Pacific region. He is also a director of a number of Malaysian-based firms undertaking OEM and private label manufacturing for medical devices, and is a venture partner in a private equity firm based in Singapore.

Previously, Dato’ Hans was the President for B. Braun and Aesculap Asia, based in Penang, Malaysia, responsible for the entire Asia-Pacific business including manufacturing, sales and marketing in all Asian countries including Japan and China. Part of his responsibilities included regional sales, managing four divisions, production across six locations and 6,500 employees.

Dato’ Hans began his career in PWC, Germany in 1987 before joining Aesculap in 1990, and later B. Braun in 1998.

He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University Stuttgart-Hohenheim, Germany.
