Irene joined Xeraya in October 2013. She has over 10 years’ experience that includes transaction advisory, regulatory and external audit experience with international exposure in Bermuda.

Prior to joining Xeraya, she was a senior manager with Baker Tilly. In that role, she handled and managed special reporting assignments on due diligence audits for initial public offerings, corporate restructuring exercises, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and various corporate exercises.

Before Baker Tilly, Irene worked as a senior analyst for the Bermuda Monetary Authority in Bermuda, specialising in the risk and compliance of investment fund companies and registered fund administrators.

Previously, Irene worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bermuda and Ernst & Young, Malaysia where she managed the external audit process for a broad range of clients within the financial services, retail and commercial, property, construction and plantation industries.

She is a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), Australia and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Finance from Monash University.
