Norashikin Muhamad has been Head of Legal and Company Secretary for Xeraya Capital since January 2013.

She has an overall accountability for ensuring legal compliance and managing legal services to the company in respect of all aspects of the operation of the business. Acting as the principal counsel, she provides legal advice and/or access to relevant legal advice to the company, its subsidiaries, special purpose vehicles, board and management.

As a company secretary, she is responsible for all board and committee meetings, ensuring directors are aware of their legal and fiduciary responsibilities, such as compliance with all statutory/governance obligations and principles of company law and corporate governance.

Before Xeraya, Norashikin was the General Manager for Corporate Services and Legal at Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (SATSSB), a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Berhad based in Johor, Malaysia. SATSSB was given the concession by the Government of Malaysia to operate, develop and manage Senai International Airport. Before Senai Airport, she was a legal advisor to Prestico Shd Bhd, a property developer based in Johor, Malaysia, where she provided legal advice and support to the entire company. She also spent four years at Southern Bank Berhad as head of credit and documentation.

Norashikin holds an LLB (Hons) from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK and is a Licensed Secretary.
