Norazli Mohamad Nor (“Azli”) was a founding member of Xeraya Capital after spearheading the preparatory aspects leading to its establishment while in Khazanah Nasional (“Khazanah”). Prior to his role as a Venture Partner in Xeraya, Azli held a dual role in Investments as well as a Corporate Function managing the Mudharabah Innovation Fund (“MIF”).

Previously in Khazanah, Azli was part of the Life Sciences Unit that was in active investment mode, managing pipeline deals and monitoring Khazanah’s life sciences portfolio. He was also instrumental in the inception and the sourcing of the MIF as well as the restructuring of a major national innovation agency.

Prior to Khazanah, Azli was at KPMG leading its infrastructure funding consulting practice. His early career had been with Tenaga Nasional and included leadership roles in both technical and management capacities, which included having P&L responsibilities of managing a business unit.

Azli had gained accreditation as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics) from Imperial College, London, United Kingdom, and an MBA with Finance specialisation from International Islamic University Malaysia.
