It is with profound sadness that Xeraya announces the sudden passing away of Xeraya’s Investment Director, Rashidan, a cherished colleague and friend, on the Monday morning of 27th October 2014.
In 2012, Rashidan became one of the first names to come on-board Xeraya. He is without a doubt a key member of our investment team and, by extension, to Xeraya itself given Xeraya’s raison d’etre. With his immense VC/PE and financial industry experience in Malaysia, he has contributed significantly to Xeraya throughout his tenure. His absence will be keenly felt both from a professional level, as well as a personal level, given his cheery and energetic disposition and the genuineness of his personality touching upon various facets of life for those around him. We can only offer our deepest condolences to his beloved family and share their sorrow, as he leaves behind his wife of 18 years and two young sons.
In light of the circumstances, we ask for patience from Xeraya’s partners as we shuffle resources around the various priorities.
